Wedding: Debbie & Nate

Thursday, June 25, 2009

I've been slow to post the last several weddings that I've had the pleasure of photographing at, so I will be starting my catch-up now with Debbie and Nate's awesome Boston wedding! I photographed their wedding as a second photographer with the very talented photog Ned Jackson.

It is always a pleasure to work with people who have great appreciation for photography. As such, we got started nice and early to ensure enough time to capture all of the beautiful details beforehand, and then also had an hour set aside for a walk in Boston's Back Bay at sunset. Such opportunity, so much fun, and what a great couple! Because it's photos you want, here you go...Starting with some of the details shots...

The rings:

A shot of Debbie's engagement ring with her vows:

And her fabulous Jimmy Choo shoes:

The beautiful bride getting ready:

Bridesmaids attaching Debbie's veil:

Nate getting ready too, several floors down:

And now at the alter having just seen Debbie for the first time that day:

They had a wild, and challenging, location for a ceremony, with huge windows all around, with bright, mid-afternoon sun backlighting them:

It allowed for some fantastic silhouette shots too!

Following the ceremony, we left the hotel and headed for Commonwealth Ave. and a walk through Newbury Street. Here's a shot looking back on the newlyweds in the cab. I love it!

An intimate moment captured, framed by a statue in the park:

Chivalry is not dead! Playing around on Newbury Street:

In front of the Public Library in Back Bay. Fantastic architecture:

Debbie and Nate's first dance back at the reception:

And another later in the evening:

And a final parting shot...Walking into the sunset:

Thanks having me as a guest at your wedding!
